At La Alberiza, dogs are part of the family. We welcome up to two dogs per stay.
The patios. The house has two fenced patios. Your dog can run free there without getting out to the street, and it's where they can stay if you go out for a while.
What you'll find. For use during your stay (they belong to the house, please leave them when you go): food and water bowls, on the porch, and a towel to dry their paws before coming in. Our gift to you: poop bags and a bag holder; they're yours to keep. Bring their bed or blanket: they'll sleep better with their own things.
In the house. No dogs on sofas, armchairs or beds. Dogs must not be left alone inside the house; if you go out, they can stay in the patios. Please pick up after them, also within the property. Dry them with the towel before coming in if they're wet or muddy.
Walks. You can walk straight from the house along quiet roads, tracks and hillside. Keep them on a lead on road sections. Our favourite dog walk and the other routes are in Walks & fishing.
In the countryside. Livestock: you'll often come across cows, mastiffs guarding the herds and wildlife; keep your dog on a lead near livestock. Water: the river and streams are perfect in summer, but watch out for strong currents during the snowmelt or after heavy rain. Parasites: in spring and summer, check their coat after walks through scrub or long grass.
